Service Description

“Professional Counseling Law and Ethics” will review Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) and Kentucky Administrative Regulations (KAR) as they relate to the practice of Professional Counseling. In particular, participants will review and discuss KRS 335-500 through KRS 335-599 and 201 KAR Chapter 36. Additionally, participants will review and discuss the American Counseling Association (ACA) code of Ethics. Participants will further discuss specific vignettes that require practical and critical thinking as to how learned material applies in practice. Participants will further develop a framework for ethical decision making including collaborating and consulting with other Professional Counselors.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy With respect to cancellations and refunds, the policy of Brighter Futures Training & Consultation, LLC is as follows: *If you register for an event and cancel your registration 30 or more days prior to the event, you will receive a full refund minus a $20.00 processing fee. *If you register for an event and cancel fewer than 30 days before the event, or if you register for an event and do not attend, our policy is that you forfeit the registration fee, and no refund will be provided. *Brighter Futures Training & Consultation reserves the right to cancel any training due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, you will be notified, and a full refund will be initiated within 72 business hours of the cancellation. Brighter Futures Trainings & Consultation's liability for cancellations is limited to the cost of the registration fee. Brighter Futures Trainings & Consultation is not responsible for other expenses incurred by the customer if training is cancelled.
