Service Description

Having been in private practice for over 10 years, we have a lot to share—both our successes and pitfalls. We have put together this training to help benefit other therapists who may be just starting their own practices or may also have been on this journey for a bit. We will discuss everything from handling difficult cases and complicated legal situations, to changes in business plans and structures, as well as managing employee and independent contractor situations. We will discuss ways we have been successful in working with community partners and marketing as well as ways we have grown and downsized over the years. Participants will have the opportunity to email specific questions ahead of the training and have additional time to ask questions throughout the training. Learning Objectives: After the workshop, participants will be able to: 1.) Explore personal goals for private practice including self-exploration of what is currently working and what you’d like to change about current work/life balance. 2.) Identify 3 successful business practices you can implement to increase productivity/efficiency and/or minimize risk 3.) Identify 3 pitfalls in business to avoid in order to minimize risk. This training is not eligible for Continuing Education Credit, however a certificate of attendance can be provided upon request.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy With respect to cancellations and refunds, the policy of Brighter Futures Training & Consultation, LLC is as follows: *If you register for an event and cancel your registration 30 or more days prior to the event, you will receive a full refund minus a $20.00 processing fee. *If you register for an event and cancel fewer than 30 days before the event, or if you register for an event and do not attend, our policy is that you forfeit the registration fee, and no refund will be provided. *Brighter Futures Training & Consultation reserves the right to cancel any training due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, you will be notified, and a full refund will be initiated within 72 business hours of the cancellation. Brighter Futures Trainings & Consultation's liability for cancellations is limited to the cost of the registration fee. Brighter Futures Trainings & Consultation is not responsible for other expenses incurred by the customer if training is cancelled.
