Service Description

Join us for this 3-hour live webinar where we will discuss clinical documentation for child clinicians. We will discuss everything from completing psycho-social assessments to treatment planning, through progress notes. We will dive into how to complete progress notes for children in play and child therapy. We will review clinical documentation through every stage of therapy from rapport building through termination to include crisis sessions and even sessions where you may have to make a report to Child Protective Services or other authorities. We will review medical necessity guidelines and how to specifically document these in child clinical cases. We will discuss collateral notes as well as documenting phone calls and disclosures. Participants will have the opportunity to review clinical examples as well as ask questions throughout the trainings. Our program will provide you with all the information you need on the "whats" and "hows" of documentation for child therapists. Whether you are just starting out or looking to improve your current documentation skills, our program offers valuable insights that will help you achieve success in your career, even if that's just helping you feel more confident with your documentation. After the workshop, participants will be able to: 1.) Explore the different types of clinical documentation needed in comprehensive child therapy 2.) Discuss clinically sound documentation that meets medical necessity guidelines 3.) Document difficult case situations where clients may choose not to engage verbally, are in a clinical crisis, or other difficult scenarios 4.) Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy With respect to cancellations and refunds, the policy of Brighter Futures Training & Consultation, LLC is as follows: *If you register for an event and cancel your registration 30 or more days prior to the event, you will receive a full refund minus a $20.00 processing fee. *If you register for an event and cancel fewer than 30 days before the event, or if you register for an event and do not attend, our policy is that you forfeit the registration fee, and no refund will be provided. *Brighter Futures Training & Consultation reserves the right to cancel any training due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, you will be notified, and a full refund will be initiated within 72 business hours of the cancellation. Brighter Futures Trainings & Consultation's liability for cancellations is limited to the cost of the registration fee. Brighter Futures Trainings & Consultation is not responsible for other expenses incurred by the customer if training is cancelled.
